SENIOR NETBALL
A GRADE
Dunnstown 54 def Ballan 29
Our A graders took on a Dunnstown side determined to keep in touch with their finals. The girls had a very impressive start with all positions across the court playing their role. Emily Lyle was fantastic in WA, providing plenty of speed across the court, whilst Brooke Hammond was strong and confident in the ring. Although going down 29-54 in the end, the girls showed grit.
B GRADE
Dunnstown def Ballan
Another hard fought game for B grade this week as we took on Dunnstown. The girls put out a strong performance in the first 3 quarters, in what was a battle to hold onto a top 8 spot. Shelby Cox was fantastic in defence, committing to the contest and producing some fantastic turnovers. With lead changes occurring across the whole game, we unfortunately went down in the end to a strong finishing Dunnstown.
C GRADE
Dunnstown 25 def Ballan 27
A tough match for our C grade team who led until late in the second quarter, but unfortunately could not secure this win against what became a strong Dunnstown. The girls look forward to the challenge against Learmonth this week as they head into a promising end of the season, and potential strong finals campaign!
JUNIOR NETBALL
17 & UNDER
Our U17’s were faced with a very dominant Dunnstown side. Bonnie’s defensive pressure was outstanding, where her confidence grew by the minute. Our mid-court was struggling to move the ball to our goal end, however, Poppy stepped into the WA position and dominated the centre pass receives. Unfortunately it was not our day against Dunnstown, however, there was so much learnt.
15 & UNDER
13A & UNDER
Our girls had a big challenge Saturday with having a number of key players out but stepped up to the challenge and played there best.. Alice played great in goals for first time, Sophie played outstanding in defence with a number of intercept, making an impact on the game. Unfortunately Dunnstown took home the win 15 to 7.
13B & UNDER
Ballan played outstanding Saturday, working great as a team. Making strong leads down the court, creating space and creating amazing passengers of play.. Victoria and Laylah played amazing in defence. Ballan won against Dunnstown 13 a’s:

UNDER 15s
A very hard fought game from our U15s footballers, we knew this one would be a challenge. Coach Luke will continue to work with the group as the team head straight towards finals with a promising future ahead!
UNDER 12s
What a team effort, with every single player doing there part for the win and that’s what makes some of the best wins! From our taller forwards Gus and Nate presenting well being a target down forward and Nate kicking few goals. Smaller forwards Eddy, Cash, Chase and Nath working hard to keep that footy locked in the forward line giving every opportunity to kick goals. Our backline solid as a rock with Brody G, Will T, Jay Fenwick, Paddy Mullane, Cooper Pickering and Denton. Although the ball didn’t go down there much today they never left their opponents side in the backline, and didn’t complain, games are won by good back man so thanks boys! Our onballers ran their guts out all day Banjo, Ned, Yilmaz, Tay, Charlie and Ash. Linking the ball well together running and carrying and being there to support their team mates all over the field. And the all rounders Jhett Bower, Mace, Jax, Brody B, Lachie Grech; we put these boys anywhere on the field and they will find the ball – coach Harley was very happy! Every single player done a a great work last week, and are all best on ground in coach Harley’s eyes, well done boys!
